Major updates!
We’re barely into the second month of the year and already, things are ramping up. Calls have been made, emails have been sent, hardware has been hauled and a number of goals have come to fruition.
We didn’t say anything specific in that sentence whatsoever, so here’s what we’ve actually been happening, behind the scenes.
Partners
We’ve worked with the best brands in the classic car arena for a while now, but it’s time to take it to the next step. We’ve partnered up with MOMO Motorsport for their fantastic steering wheels and Maxilite Wheels for their excellent rolling hardware! Now that all the dust has settled, Benton Performance is an authorized dealer for both products. Need a Prototipo or a set of lightweight Maxilite Fuchs? Simply walk into our showroom and walk out with what you need…. or stick around and spend some time with us.
Engine room
Everybody at the shop has long agreed that a spot of interior redecoration was in order. Cue a few weekend mornings moving parts, throwing sledgehammers into walls and doing some much needed spring cleaning and our engine room has eventually moved to a spot adjacent to our showroom. Now, customers will be able to watch Eric work his magic with their motors while sitting comfortably on our couch and sipping coffee.
Open House
The most important news, we’ve left till last. We’ve been asked time and again when people can visit the shop and drool at the cool stuff we do. The last part may be an exaggeration, but you get the drift. Well, we’re very excited to announce that Benton Performance will be hosting an all day Open House on Thursday, February 28th! Donuts, coffee and lunch is on us. Feel free to stop by and catch a day at the shop, pick John’s brains about niche flat-four stuff, laugh at Ian’s jokes or play with Ross. We’ve set the date based on the popular LA Lit Week show, so no excuses!
