We’re barely into the second month of the year and already, things are ramping up. Calls have been made, emails have been sent, hardware has been hauled and a number of goals have come to fruition.

We didn’t say anything specific in that sentence whatsoever, so here’s what we’ve actually been happening, behind the scenes.

Time really flies. In barely a blink of an eye, 2018 came and went. A blur of personnel changes, builds, restorations, race victories and cool Porsche stuff created a very memorable 12 months. Well, the last page of the calendar has turned and we find ourselves in 2019.

By now, you’ve definitely seen Rayo Chapin around, either at events in SoCal or in photos online. Most know that the car won its class at the infamous La Carrera Panamericana race in Mexico, which it was built for.

But all this was not accomplished overnight. So, here’s the full backstory for your pleasure.
